Greetings by Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 20 (Bernama) – Golden Horse Digital Investment Bank (GHDIB) through the Bantu-Bantu Malaysia program distributed 25,000 food baskets to vulnerable groups who are affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The program, initiated by Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew and in collaboration with Universal Relief Society is designed for helping those affected by the epidemic to reduce their financial burden and support their well -being.

The founder of GHDIB, Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew said, in conjunction with Malaysia Day, GHDIB has decided to add an additional 25,000 food baskets to help our family, as what Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, emphasises, “Keluarga Malaysia”.

“Many Malaysians are affected by the pandemic, and it is our social responsibility to help each other to overcome our struggles amid this challenging time,” he said.

More than 20,000 food baskets have been delivered since April last year, and 75,000 food baskets will be distributed this year.

Each food basket has enough food for five family members to last for 15 days and a total of 100,000 food baskets will be delivered all across country this year.

“Life has its ups and downs. Don’t give up! Contact us whenever you need help. We will assist any individual regardless of race or religion to the best of our abilities,” he added.
